Scope Clock with DG 7-16 tube
Scope Clock with DG 7-16 tube
This is a one-of-a-kind Scope Clock using the Thiem-Work circuit board with a NOS AEG DG 7-16 CRT from Germany. The case is laser cut out of “Coke Bottle Green” acrylic to give the appearance of glass. I added a PIR motion sensor that only displays the time for 10 min. when motion is detected to prevent CRT burn-in. A aqua LED located inside the case shines upward to refract off the 3 electron guns.
Uses 120 VAC / 60 Hz
$999 USD
Laser cut acrylic case houses the PCB and toroid transformer.
PIR sensor with Fresnel Lens switches the CRT on when movement is detected located in front.
A single LED illuminates the rear of the CRT
